James Brown is a Certified Workforce Development Professional with extensive experience in Career Development. Certified by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) he served on their National Board of Directors helping to develop relevant policy and procedures for those agencies who utilize Department of Labor funding. After serving as Unit Vice-President of the Youngstown Branch of the NAACP, he was elected President in 2020 where he remains chairman of the Economic Empowerment, Reentry, and Political, Media & Communication Committees. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University and a Master of Public Administration from Texas Southern University.
